Evolving Dynamics in Product Design and Research Hiring

Lena is an independent Recruitment Leader specializing in product design and UX research hiring at Senior IC (Senior/Lead/Staff) and Leadership (Managers/Directors/VP) levels.

Previously she led recruitment at Miro and built a top design team in Europe by attracting over 30 senior talents from FAANG companies and other leading brands. Then Lena moved into UX Research and spent a year conducting mixed methods research in Canvas and a collaboration team.

Currently, she runs kuːl, a successful boutique recruitment and job search advising agency dedicated to helping product designers and UX researchers excel in their job searches and career transitions.

Dalia is an engineer-turned-academic-turned-user-researcher. She is currently the Director of UX Research at Wise, and before that was the Head of UX Research at Miro, where she helped build the team and discipline from the ground up.

She started her career as a human-computer interaction researcher, then joined Shopify, where she helped scale the UX Research practice from a few researchers to a team of 60+ strong and co-led the craft across the entire organisation.

When she’s not busy asking too many questions, Dalia enjoys films, books, music, baking, and all things David Bowie.

Andrea's journey has taken him through the vibrant worlds of eCommerce, hospitality, luxury goods, and beyond, where he's crafted experiences that delight users and drive unparalleled success.

Currently, Andrea leads the Product Design team at Mews, where he is redefining how hotels operate and connect with their guests. From streamlining hotel staff performance to creating seamless integration experiences, every day is an opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
