Why this topic matters

Vague work descriptions can sandbag high-performers by causing us to blend in too much and sound generic vs fabulous. Colorful context, comparisons, description, and imagery can liberate us, without showing off one bit, once we know how. While most business professionals don't study journalism, many I've coached find this reporter-approach to storytelling helpful, if we want to stand out.
