Today, as CEO of Breakthrough Social Enterprise, Sobanan leads one of the UK’s most mission-driven organisations focused on bridging the divide between underserved communities and the most transformative technology of our time: Artificial Intelligence. 

Amira is an AI and Sustainable Development specialist studying currently working towards a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development. She has built a career dedicated to tech-for-good innovation, with extensive experience in tech startups. She has worked on projects that leverage emerging technologies to address global challenges, from supporting at-risk communities facing homelessness to developing AI-driven solutions for environmental sustainability.

Her passion lies in exploring how AI, blockchain, and digital innovation can drive positive change, particularly in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as she knows AI can be a great force for good when used in the correct way.
